Covid 19 has halted everything but not the spirit , zeal to put through the best for our stakeholders .  We are  here to walk and carve out the journey towards excellence .Lockdown has raised different challenges amongst education communities. In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Somaiya Vidyavihar has suspended all the classes in campus till further notice. But learning and student interaction in Somaiya Campus has not come to a standstill . Our teachers and students are meticulously carrying  out the learning  regime online. All thanks to our robust IT infrastructure !

Our students are equipped with Somaiya domain email id and access to digital tools enabling them to interact remotely. Digital classes on Google classroom and online video lectures have helped to continue their learning process and lessen the impact on regular classes due to COVID-19 outbreak. Faculties are well versed in using ICT tools during their online teaching. This has helped students to explore various aspects like use of new softwares, optimize their study time by pursuing online courses while at home. Submission of assignments online or exercise solving with their peers in online classes have turned the study corners of their rooms into classrooms. Teachers are investing time in learning and researching different avenues. Definitely this is bringing positivity, a sense of togetherness and freshness to overcome the current unfortunate circumstances. Distances are setting us apart but technology is keeping us together and we are able to draw new learning curves.

Campus Safety is not compromised . No student is permitted to enter the campus for any of  the academic or other activities.

 ­Riidl has launched the “Somaiya is Online” series leading to productive time spent indoors. Just a few to name are Demonstration of  DIY sanitizer, Beatboxing Masterclass, Origami creations and COVID-19 Design Challenge to tackle various problems related to pandemic.
