Italian is a rich language and Italy has an ancient vibrant culture. It belongs to the Indo-European group of languages. Knowledge of this language and culture is increasingly valued in a globalised world.
Marathi, Hindi and many other Indian languages have language structures similar to Italian. Learners will be taught to evolve their own learning strategies focussing on similarities of structure while also underlining the individuality of the Italian language and culture
Teaching-learning occurs primarily in lecture format. Cultural events and skill related language based other programmes when possible.
