Pedagogy

Programme Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the programme, a student will:
  • Have reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at the necessary level of proficiency to qualify for the relevant DELF exams.
  • Have a comprehensive exposure to French cultural traditions and modern trends.
  • Be sensitised and develop insights in cross-cultural communication.

Differentiators

While equipping the student with reading, writing, listening and speaking skills appropriate for each level of proficiency, students also study the language in the context of French culture. Translation and interpretation skills are introduced at higher levels.

The various levels are rigorous in approach and students get a strong foundation, based on which they proceed. This builds confidence and has ensured the success of our students at the DELF exams.

The special feature of the programme is a forum for interaction with students of higher levels of proficiency and native French language speakers whenever feasible, so that speaking skills are reinforced.
